What’s changing?
From Term 1, 2026 you will no longer be able to order through the Tuckr App or the Tuckr Website.
For Tuckr app users
- The Tuckr app is being retired. Please download the myKindo app from the App Store or Google Play. From there you can select the Tuckr Canteen at your student’s school and order.
For Tuckr website users
- The Tuckr website will redirect you to the Kindo login page. From there you can select the Tuckr Canteen at your student’s school and order.
What’s staying the same?
Although the ordering path is changing, the Tuckr experience at school is not.
- Same food, same team. Your school’s Tuckr Canteen menu and the onsite team stay in place.
- Fresh, made‑to‑order meals. Think sushi, hot meals, burgers, pitas and more…….
- Same pick-up process. Your student will pick up their meals and snacks from the Canteen as they do currently.
Why is Tuckr moving their online and app ordering to Kindo?
Kindo is New Zealand’s leading school payment and administration platform, already used by hundreds of schools and thousands of families - so there’s a good chance you already have a Kindo account.
Bringing Tuckr orders into Kindo makes school life simpler and more convenient for families:
- One login for school life. Pay school fees, donations, activities and order lunches all in one place.
- Allergen management. Allergens can be set by both the canteen (on menu items) and by parents (for their child), making ordering safer and more accessible for a wide range of dietary needs.
- Advance ordering. Plan ahead by ordering lunches in advance in one transaction - even for the whole term.
- Multiple school lunches. Buy for more than one student, or a group of students, each individually named - all in one transation!
- Multiple Student Orders: 3 kids at 3 different Kindo schools? Pay for a canteen lunch for one student, a school trip for another, annual donations for the 3rd - all in one transaction!
- Simple, secure payments. Pay by card, internet banking, digital payment methods or top up your account balance - all with clear digital receipts.
