As a Customer Success Manager, you’ll be the trusted partner, guide, and mentor schools rely on. This role isn’t just another help desk job or a quick in-and-out account manager visit, it’s about coaching schools, being their go-to person at points of escalation, and building relationships they can truly count on.

The Role

You’ll be the point of contact for schools, building trust and confidence as you guide them through onboarding, training, and ongoing use of the Kindo platform.

Day to day, you’ll:

• Support schools with onboarding and tailored training (online and onsite)

• Provide helpful resources and practical advice

• Use data insights to suggest improvements and identify opportunities

• Help integrate Kindo with school financial systems

• Be the reassuring, capable presence that schools look forward to seeing each visit

Travel: This role involves two to three trips per school term, typically around three days away from Auckland, plus a few single overnight trips, as well as attending national conferences. Flexibility to travel is essential.

Role Purpose

As a Customer Success Consultant at Kindo, you’ll help schools unlock the full potential of our platform. From onboarding and training to data insights and relationship growth, you’ll ensure schools get the absolute best from Kindo.

Your success in this role is measured by school engagement, retention, satisfaction, and commercial impact

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

KPI categories may shift with business priorities, but generally include:

• Acquisition – Seamless onboarding post-sale, with full discovery completed
• Retention – Maintain 100% customer retention through high engagement and satisfaction
• Growth – Upsell and cross-sell within school accounts, grow average value per student
• Advocacy – Increase the number of referrals and school advocates across the sector

What You Bring

• A background in customer relationship management or account management

• Confidence with technology, comfortable using online platforms, CRMs, and video meeting tools

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, you can explain things clearly and calmly

• Excellent time management and organisational skills

• A genuine interest in helping others succeed with technology

• Bonus: experience in education, AI tools, or integration platforms

·  NZ driver’s license and access to reliable transport

The interview process consists of a screening call followed by three interviews.
